Twenty years ago, the strange, wonderful movie debut of director Spike Jonze and writer Charlie Kaufman was released. Gerard Gilbert examines its remarkable prescience. The idea would be dismissed as ridiculous, of course — science fiction, or perhaps if you were Monica Lewinsky, vindication. And yet, 20 years later, the entire planet has a portal into the mind of Donald Trump, as the 45th president of the United States uses Twitter to respond immediately to anything and everything. The film stars John Cusack as Craig, a greasy-haired, unemployed puppeteer whose dishevelled, pet-obsessed wife Lotte Cameron Diaz , unrecognisable from her breakthrough role as blonde bombshell Tina in The Mask a few years earlier encourages him to take a filing job at a strange corporation. What the portal offers can be likened to a celebrity Instagram account — albeit an involuntary one — a good decade before the photo-sharing site was invented.

Five minutes before I meet Catherine Keener, I get a text from a friend who once interviewed her. It seems I'm in for a good time: "She's delightful, really funny, kind of eccentric in the best way - and a little klutzy! Sure enough, five minutes into our interview, Keener takes three sachets of sugar, meant for her coffee, and tips them into her soup. I am such a klutz! The Keener laugh is a big sound in this echoing cafe in Venice Beach, Los Angeles; I later find that it has drowned out half the words - hers and mine - my tape recorder picks up. Now I have to go get more sugar.
The Most Stunning Catherine Keener Pics
In apparently serious and heartfelt independent movies, where the people are resolutely "ordinary" and where the beauty-resistant rawness of the photography seems determined to avoid "glamour," people still do the kind of far-fetched things they do in those much more expensive and idiotic fabrications -- big pictures. Not that I'm saying don't see it. There are two Catherine Keener pictures around at the moment, this and "Full Frontal," and the latter is the one to ignore.
Her face at the end is the face of someone thinking I'm going to go find a new job, I'm done with this Catherine keener nude scenes. Short video description Engaging, intermittently insightful but too glib to wring full value out of its subject matter, this brightly performed study of an extended family of females has enough going for it to quickly graduate from the fest circuit to a respectable career in specialized release. Jane Marks Brenda Blethyn is a lively, well-off matriarch who would seem to have passed only one personality trait to her daughters — massive self-absorption.
